WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) – Officials from Wisconsin State Fair Park and Track Enterprises have announced that stock car racing will return on Sunday, June 14 for a second annual event.

Four racing divisions put on a big show for a large group of racing fans last year, according to a press release. Over 100 pilots were on track for the 2019 race, with Austin Nason beating a field of nearly 40 Super Late Models at the flagship event.

“It was a huge victory for us last year, being the first race there in many years. I can’t wait to go back, because it’s a very fast track and close to home, ”said Nason, last year’s winner.

The release says ARCA Midwest Tour Super Late Models will headline the show again in 2020 with a 100-lap event. Midwest Trucks, Mid-American Stock Cars and the Upper Midwest Vintage Series will join them.

A training day is scheduled for Saturday June 13 with final practice, qualifying, prelims and main races starting at 1 p.m. on Sunday June 14, with the main events to follow. There will also be a street drag event on Saturday night, after free practice is over.

The track is located at Wisconsin State Fair Park in West Allis.

Presale tickets will be available in the coming days, online, at the box office and by phone. Those with campsites at the 2019 event are encouraged to call the Track Enterprises office and reserve their spot for this year’s event.
