It was another entertaining night of racing last Saturday night as the Ceduna Dirt Circuit Club hosted a race meeting, proudly sponsored by Letcher Moroney Chartered Accountants.
A small peloton of cars took to the track and it was the big bangers who came out first as veteran Alan Woollatt showed the others the way by winning two heats.
Colin Thiele, at the wheel of the ‘Wild Thing’, won a round and finished second of the evening.
Greg Limbert also won a round and finished third overall – not bad for a Class B car.
In the other heats, Joel Silva dominated the first two races with a U-turn winning, while Kristie Crafter and David Rice battled bumper to bumper.
The handicapper had Silva a half-lap behind, but that challenge wasn’t big enough as he caught up to the peloton with one lap to run in what was an impressive race.
The last round was won by Rice, followed by Crafter.
The allcomers’ flagship race saw Kyle Tucker get off to a good start, and as the rest of the field couldn’t catch him, all eyes turned to the battle for second place as Tyson Carr was worked on by Silva.
Carr held on to finish second, while Silva took third.
