National racing driver Cem Bölükbaşı will participate in the second stage of the Formula 2 World Championship in Jeddah. Bölükbaşı, who will have the first street racing track experience of his career, finished both Bahrain races in 6th place, moving up 14 places last weekend.
Turkey’s first Formula 2 driver, Cem Bölükbaşı, will race for the first time in his career on a street track in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, between 2022 and March 2 in the second leg of the 25th Formula 27 World Championship of the FIA. Jeddah Street Circuit stands out as one of the longest and fastest circuits in the Formula 1 and Formula 2 championships.
Bölükbaşı will kick off the race week with practice laps on Friday, March 25 at 2:25 p.m. On the same day, at 6:30 p.m., he will end the first day by going to the qualifying rounds. The national racing driver will make his first race on Saturday March 26 at 3:30 p.m. with a sprint race. Bölükbaşı will complete the weekend races with the main race on Sunday March 27 at 4:35 p.m.

Cem Bölükbaşı started the sprint race in 2nd place in the first Formula 20 races of his career in Bahrain last weekend and finished the race in 14th place, moving up six places in one go. In the main race, which took place on Sunday, the young driver started the race in 20th place and moved up 5 places to finish 15th. After the publication of the report of the College of Stewards of the FIA, Bölükbaşı moved up one place and finished the race 1st.

The F18 20 Championship, which started on March 2, 2022 at the Bahrain International Circuit, will continue for 13 weeks with races taking place at the circuits of Jeddah, Imola, Barcelona, Monte Carlo, Baku, Silverstone, Spielberg, Budapest . , Spa-Francorchamps, Zandvoort and Monza, respectively. . The championship finale, which has the same schedule as Formula 1, will end with the finale at the Yas Marina track from November 18-20, 2022.
