There are plenty of great horse races across America on Saturday, including at Saratoga Racecourse. We’ve been fine with our picks for a long time and had big winners at 12/1 and 7/2 in Saratoga on Fridaybringing our profit to +298 units with our race picks at our recommended stakes dated August 5, 2021. Let’s keep going!

Here are our best bets for today’s action in Saratoga.

1:17 p.m. ET Saratoga (Race 4) – Evs technical analysis (3-star play)

Technical Analysis hasn’t finished outside of the first 2 of 6 starts since placing 6th in a Grade 3 1 1/8 mile contest at Belmont Park in June last year. This race features two 2nd-place finishes in 1st-grade company, including when she was beaten 1 1/2 lengths in the Diana Stakes on the same trip to Saratoga last month.

The slightly shorter trip today is no problem and the 4-year-old looks capable of scoring after winning the Gallorette Stakes from Pimlico as Year 3 on her penultimate start.

1:55 p.m. ET Saratoga (Race 5) – Jackie’s Warrior 1/2 (3-Star Game)

Jackie’s Warrior completed a 4-timer by taking a 2-length victory in the Grade 1 Alfred G. Vanderbilt Handicap over 6 furlongs at this location last month. The extra distance is not an issue today after taking a class 1 at Churchill Downs on this trip in May.

Defending an unbeaten record of 5 out of 5 at this site, the colt trained by Steve Asmussen is set to cement his place at the top of the sprint division with a 13e career victory.

3:52 p.m. ET Saratoga (Race 8) – Jack Christopher 6/5 (2-Star Game)

Jack Christopher has won his first 4 starts, including the Woody Stephens Grade 1 Stakes over 7 furlongs at Belmont Park on his seasonal debut in May.

He lost his unbeaten record by moving a mile and 1/8ths for the first time and placing 3rd in the Haskell Stakes Grade 1 at Monmouth Park last month. The drop in travel today is in his favor and he can get back to winning ways under regular jockey Jose Ortiz.

5:05 p.m. ET Saratoga (Race 10) – Adhamo 7/2 (2-Star Game)

Adhamo showed good form in Europe last year and has built on 3 finishes on the board since joining the Chad Brown barn in winning by 1 1/2 lengths at the Tier 1 United Nations from 11 furlongs at Monmouth Park last month.

He had previously placed 2nd behind Tribhuvan, who opposes today, in the Manhattan Grade 1 at Belmont Park in June, but after reversing that form last time, the nerd son plans to register a 6th career victory.

5:44 p.m. ET Saratoga (Race 11) – Epicenter 7/5 (2-Star Game)

Epicenter has shown good form so far this year, winning 3 times out of 5 starts in graduated stakes races, including when successful by 1 1/2 lengths in the 9 furlong Grade 2 Jim Dandy Stakes in Saratoga late last month.

He was 2nd in 2 of the Triple Crown races before that and looks capable of recording a maiden Grade 1 win with regular rider Joel Rosario booked to ride the colt Not This Time after a 50.03 four furlongs job.
