Lancia may no longer be a top player in the automotive industry, but its remarkable motor racing heritage makes it dear to many motorsport enthusiasts. Automobili Amos expresses its love for the brand with a new restomod it calls the Lancia Delta Safarista. Releases like this remind us of the relentless demand for this automotive icon.
2016 saw two gears, Carlo Borromeo and Eugenio Amos, form a boutique that caters to hardcore fans of legendary vehicles. Also, as the name suggests, the donor machine for his latest project is a Delta Integrale. Originally developed for rallying, it allowed Lancia to dominate competitions.
Automobili Amos understands what their customer wants from their rides and gladly complies with the Delta Safarista. The customization options are nearly limitless for each build, something other alternate outfits struggle to offer. Unlike the Futurista, they turn this model into a rugged off-roader.
Given the two-tone panda color scheme of the promotional images, those in the drifting scene might mistake it for a Toyota Trueno A86 from afar. However, Automobili Amos will paint it in any shade or combination you choose. Expect to see some modern upgrades as well.
True to its roots, the Lancia Delta Safarista will be a high performance rally car. From the outside, it now sports new fenders, fenders, bumpers, sidepods, exhaust system, fender, and more. Overall, it’s fully geared up and ready to race right out of the garage.
Autotecnica then overhauls the powertrain to optimize all components for rock-solid performance. It rides on an adjustable motorsport suspension. Automobili Amos then adds two bucket seats with 4 or 5 point harnesses and reinforces the Lancia Delta Safarista with a roll bar.
