Next year’s North West 200 dates have been announced.
The main race day of the 2020 event will take place on Saturday, May 16.
The bike week will run from May 10 to 16 with opening practice on Tuesday May 12.
Final qualifying and the first night of the race will take place on Thursday 14 May.
Fans were treated to some thrilling action in the Northwest this year, despite Saturday’s races disrupted due to persistent rain.
Glenn Irwin had won the first round of Superbike, but the second main race was called off as the rain continued to fall on the circuit.
Mervyn Whyte will remain as Event Director for the 2020 NW200 race.
He said, “The Coleraine and District Motor Club committee asked me to stay on as the event director for next year and I agreed to do so.
“I look forward to the challenge as the club continues to plan for the future with a process in place that will be adopted when I step down. “
