WRC 8 brings realistic rally racing to the Nintendo Switch in September

You could discuss Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the alone racing game that you must own on the Nintendo Switch, but admittedly the system could be used with more realistic racing titles.

There have already been several lately, and soon there will be another rushing the system. Next scheduled to tear it up is the rally sim WRC 8: the official game by Bigben and Kylotonn. After a two-year absence, the next entry in the series will be coming to the Nintendo Switch and several other platforms in September.

After much community feedback, Kylotonn has made the effort to improve all aspects of the series – with better graphics, more technical routes, smoother pacing notes, and a comprehensive career mode. The direction and physics have also been improved to make the experience feel closer to reality than ever before.

Here’s a bit more about the game’s content, straight from the PR:

WRC 8 will also offer a selection of WRC 2 and Junior WRC drivers as well as some historical models which will be unveiled very soon. It will take skill and concentration to overcome more than 100 special events taking place in 14 countries. Upgrade your car to unprecedented new levels of detail and grow your team in a deep and intense career mode.

A new dynamic weather system has been developed to add random elements to the driving experience, but also to increase the realism of the game. Weather management is a real challenge for the drivers: modified grip, adjustments of the settings of the car, optimization of tire selection, relationship with the weather team to ensure the best advice and information on the latest conditions. More than just visual effects, the climatic conditions become crucial, especially in the management of your career.
